Your real estate site will run at a loss if you don’t provide the right keywords. You have to learn the trick of feeding your site with the right keywords- remember that right keywords do not always mean using the most popular word in your industry! 
Few days back I performed a Google search on these words:
Note the results:
·         A search for “real estate” gave me 244,000,000 pages
·                     (That’s over 200 million pages!)
·         A search for “home loans” gave me 63,200,000 pages.
·         A search for “mortgages” gave me 42,200,000 pages.
If you think using any popular words as your keywords will get you at the top result you are widely mistaken! You have to do a little bit of homework and emphasize on those specific words and phrases that are closely related to your market area, industry or product focused. Think of the words that your buyers and sellers will look for when they are searching for your product or service. You are much better off when you choose “Las Vegas real estate agents” rather than “real estate” (assuming its relevant to your site). These highly specific and targeted keywords will get your site to a high-ranking position.

The first step is to select the right keywords that will help you with the ranking. 

Then comes the next step where you create a link exchange page and start building your link popularity. 

 

At this point try and concentrate on related website links only. It is more important that you link the more popular sites on the Web with your site thus making your site rank higher. Do a bit of research and study your competitors; see the links your competitors are providing and try to get those links to your site as well. Write to them and see if this is possible. If you are not confident take help of any link popularity building services.

Link popularity has a major role to play in the ranking of your Web site. You will no way get your site at a higher rank if you don’t have other sites linking to your own site. It is even a criterion for some search engines that you have at least one link coming to your site. If you fail to provide any linking to your site they have the right to drop you from their index.

Building link popularity requires hard labor and expertise and there are no free rides for it. But once you complete the task with dedication then you definitely get the reward of making your site a high ranking one.

You must have been awestruck to find poorly designed and optimized sites to rank at the top of many search engines. The main reason behind this is the sites strong link popularity.

Do you know that you can boost your page ranking for any keyword by using that keyword to the anchor text from inbound links to that page? Google gives strong points and full credit to anchor text.
The SEO industry terms it as “Google bombing” or  “Link Popularity Building”. A memorable instance involves couple dozen bloggers “three years ago” linking to the official George W. Bush page using the anchor text “miserable failure”.
After a couple weeks, to people’s great surprise, the page was ranked #1 for the search “miserable failure”, even though those words did not appear anywhere on the page itself.
It still ranks at the top of many leading search engines, search google for the term “miserable failure “.

One of the most important areas in online real estate marketing is the anchor text of inbound links. Google, one of the best search engines puts a significant amount of weight on the anchor text of inbound links that is generated from other websites. It uses a keyword targeted anchor text that acts as the most important factor for extremely competitive search terms.

 

You have to provide a link to your web page for the topmost search engines to locate your webpage and vote for your page. But what is more important is not the volume of the links to your page but quality and relevance of the pages as well.
