The best tools for reale state agents December 5, 2005

Our mission at ILoveRealEstat.biz is to test, review and find the best tools for real estate agents. There are hundreds of companies offering websites, but sometimes the same website can be available as open source software (which means free!). Why pay for something if you can get it free? Similar for website hosting. Why pay $20-$50 per month if you can get the same quality or sometimes better hosting for $5 per month? It is nearly impossible to know all the information, to know what offers are really good, but we ourselves have about 100 websites, we tested many hostings on our websites, we are in real estate like you, we use the same tools for our business and we feel there is a gap in the market. There are too many people making money on agents! And it is not benefiting agents. A lot of bad tools and websites are out there. A lot of people are giving bad advice about SEO, PPC and it is not right. So therefore we created this website to pick best of the best and give it to you. We will be focusing mostly on OPEN SOURCE solutions. We don’t want cover too much paid solutions and commercial products. Why? Because there are many products which work great and are open source, so you can use them without paying for them.

Hi,
My name is Yolanda, a Broker Associate in the Midwest. Originally my husband and I were Investors but I decided to obtain my Broker’s License in hopes to open my own office one day. I’m noticing that the way business was conducted in the past is rapidly changing. I agree that the agent/client connection is not happening soon enough. I’m in the process of exploring what tools and resources I need to eventually transition to a virtual business. There is alot of information out there and yes, you’re right, agents get ripped off with website promises, lead generations, and newsletters that don’t work. I need all the help I can get but I’m seriously thinking about my own website and how I can obtain Broker Reciprocity to give my website visitors an opportunity to view MLS info without so many filters. I think that scares them away. On the other hand, how do I get them to connect with me?
I’m glad I ran into your blog and I hope you have the time to visit my website and provide some insight. I’ll definitely be checking into your blogs and contribute my 2 cents
Happy New Year!
