Why buying leads doesn’t work December 23, 2005

Buying leads in real estate doesn’t work very well. Agents are complaining about low response rate from perspective clients. Clients very often submit request for more information on real estate website, but when contacted by real estate agent they don’t even remember that. Practice of many lead generation services doesn’t help. Many of them sell leads to multiple agents, clients don’t know who they should expect to call them, there is no mentioning of brokerage or agent’s name during the process.

On the other hand many agents are responding incredibly slow to online request. Agents also shouldn’t expect that leaving messages will guarantee them returned phone call.

The way how real estate industry currently works is not ideal. There must be done a lot of improvements by the way how agents communicate with clients and how the information is provided. We will be trying to show some of the best practices, which helps to agents work less with better results.
